Avant Gardner

Avant Gardner is a multi-venue event complex in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The 80,000 SF venue occupies an entire city block of industrial East Williamsburg, containing a compound of stages and full-service event spaces. The vast complex includes The Brooklyn Mirage, The Great Hall, and The King’s Hall, all serving as unique individual spaces or combined to make Avant Gardner the second largest entertainment venue in Brooklyn.  The venue is suitable for corporate receptions, product launches, private social events and night club parties. AG has seasonal outdoor space for up to 2500 guests and year round capacity of 5500 spread across 4 indoor spaces.

The Brooklyn Mirage is a breathtaking open-air sanctuary in the heart of the Avant Gardner complex. The inner courtyard is a totally immersive space, surrounded by towering walls lined with evergreen plants and captivating video projections. A singular catwalk connects a network of expansive outdoor environments and rises to surround the venue, offering views of the iconic city skyline and bustling courtyard below. An exciting selection of refreshments, an ever-changing food menu and a stunning sound system complete this elusive summer paradise. (Open Early May- September)

The Great Hall is the quintessential Brooklyn warehouse venue, that’s anything but. A massive and soaring space, its exposed beams and brick walls evoke a familiar industrial aesthetic while containing boundless possibilities for transforming the space. An array of moving lights shine down from high in the ceiling, while a two-level platform gives a viewpoint over The Great Hall’s enormous dance floor.

The Kings Hall is its own intimate domain within the grand complex. The incandescent lighting and massive chandelier give the space an alluring warmth. During the day, natural light shines through the glass ceiling panels, filling the space with a brilliant visual effect. Our world-class KV2 sound installation and intricately designed lighting fixtures complete a dance floor that rivals that of the most acclaimed venues. Whether it’s a musical performance, a wedding banquet or a charity gala, it’s a space fit for a king.

All venues onsite are plug and play spaces with premium in house AV including sound, lighting and video support. Floor plans at AG are configurable with multiple staging options or the option to create raw space for custom build outs.
