NEW VENUE ALERT
SMASHBOX STUDIOS // CULVER CITY, CA (GREATER LA)
Smashbox Studios offers clients state-of-the-art design and services in an exceptionally renovated 25,000 SF campus, perfect for small to large special events. Each studio is a blank canvas with lofty ceilings, a luxurious lounge, sleek kitchenette and functional workstation. Additionally there is a welcoming Reception, Cafe and Commercial Kitchen.

Either envisioned individually or combined, each studio is convertible to host any shoot or event imaginable with some studios offering access to outdoor lounges. Two adjacent parking lots are primed for an added outdoor event experience and can be tented. Valet parking is also available, as well as a parking garage directly across the street.
 
The Studios, which offer a combination of features include:

NATIONAL MANGO BOARD // 487 BROADWAY
National Mango Board transformed 487 Broadway in SoHo into an interactive mango paradise. Inspired by the sleek design of the Apple Store, this mango pop-up cheerfully reminded mango lovers that the fruit is 'always in season' and can be purchased year round. Guests acquired info on various mango varieties, recipe inspiration, viewed art, beauty and cooking demos, and learned how to properly cut them. Celebrity nutritionist Kimberly Snyder demonstrated live recipes to help guests discover the flavor behind the "king of fruits." Check out the highlights.
HBO INSPIRATION ROOM // 399 LAFAYETTE

HBO transformed 399 Lafayette into The Inspiration Room, which was an unedited public archive of women's journals. The week-long interactive experience featured a variety of events and showcased women's stories in the form of compilation books, large-scale installations, audio recordings and videos throughout the main space. The elevated stage portion of the venue was finished as a coffee bar, where guests could grab a coffee and read the diaries.

DERMALOGICA // 201 MULBERRY
Dermalogica hosted their first ever interactive pop-up at 201 Mulberry in Nolita. Top New York City influencers such as Katie Jane Hughes and Tezza, as well as fitness guru and founder of Rumble boxing, Erika Hammond, were present. Activations included a skin care master class, free personalized skin treatments and interactive art installations. Last but not least, guests were able to try the brand's newest innovation, Prisma Protect SPF30.
MIXING IT UP
HESTA PRYNN | SXSW

Hesta Prynn took SXSW Interactive by storm! Her first event was a brunch hosted by Twitter for International Women’s Day where Hesta played two hours of songs with all female vocals and that same night played a headlining party. She then went on to DJ the Buzzfeed party with Questlove where guests were dancing until late in the night. Finally, she was the house DJ for the Amazon Prime Good Omens activation for the duration of the event. From one festival to the next, she will be heading to Cannes Lions in June!
