ROOT NYC // STUDIO 3 // CHELSEA

ROOT NYC is a versatile photography studio and event space located in the heart of Chelsea. With its recent major renovation, the largest of its three popular event spaces, Studio 3, now offers 6,000 SF of stunning new space, with minimal columns, crisp white walls and polished concrete floors. 

In addition, Studio 3 offers a host of amenities including nine restroomsa new versatile cyclorama, plus an additional 169-feet of permanent ceiling rigging points. Load in is easier and more seamless than ever with the addition of a third motorized garage door - all with direct street access to 18th Street. A full building buyout grants clients over 11,500 SF across two connected floors and includes the cafe which can be used as a central bar. The jewel in the crown is an intimate, furnished roof deck.

BALLROOM MARFA // THE GARAGE
Co-Founders Fairfax Dorn and Virginia Lebermann host the 2018 Ballroom Marfa New York Gala, presented by Max Mara. This year’s gala held at The Garage, honored Sofia Coppola with the ‘Off the Grid Award.' The award recognizes individuals who approach their creative practice with the same independent spirit and imagination that thrives in West Texas where Ballroom resides. Guests enjoyed music by The Cactus Blossoms, a cinematic score by famed Italo disco DJ Mike Simonetti, as well as live and silent auction.

WOLVERINE // EZ STUDIOS
Wolverine, an American footwear brand, is raising awareness for the trades with their Project Bootstrap program. The mission of the program is to highlight the need for skilled labor professionals which are in short supply. Project Bootstrap aims to "shine a light on the great opportunities in skilled trade careers" and to encourage young people to take up trades. With the help of EdelmanWolverine's Project Bootstrap hosted an event at EZ Studios in the heart of the Garment District. They also worked with talented vendors such as Oxygen Eventworks for staging and Gastronome for catering for a successful event.
MIXING IT UP
INTRODUCING DJ BRIANNA LANCE

Brianna Lance has always been a creator; a painter, designer, stylist, and musician. Brianna began her career in fashion as a stylist and then went in-house as a Creative Director for the cult favorite label Reformation. Brianna created Reformation’s classic silhouettes and played a pivotal role in building the creative direction and social media presence that facilitated the brand’s staggering success. She then was the Creative Director for the men’s wear line Basic Rights, dedicated to bringing English tailoring to simple men’s basics. 

Brianna has collaborated with brands on creative direction, styling and strategy, delivering sophisticated and well curated content. She is a contributing editor for So It Goes Magazine, realizing the photographic direction and music. Her role as an influencer also sees her in high demand in front of the camera; she has been profiled by the likes of Vogue, Into The Gloss and In Style. 

Brianna just released her debut solo record with producer Dave Fridman, while her DJ residencies in New York and LA have included Le Bain, The Ace Hotel, Soho Grand Hotel and Baby’s All Right. Brianna is called upon to host exclusive dinners and launch events, her distinctive personality and sound make her a crowd favorite.
