MAD MARJ | MFAH
Texans really know how to throw a party! This week The Kagency's own DJ Mad Marj took the art world by storm, when she performed at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston for their Grand Gala Ball, honoring her longtime friend, philanthropist Lynn Wyatt.

The fundraiser raised over $2 million dollars and was fueled by the added star power of celebrity guests Shirley MaclaineThe Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson and many other illustrious names from the fashion and media worlds. Elton John attended the event via video and gave Mrs. Wyatt a special birthday gift - a pair of his own autographed sunglasses for auction. The generous donation attributed to the highest earnings in the event's history.

The dapper crowd danced the night away to Mad Marj's celebratory beats, that were said to, "Transform the gloriously decorated museum into a thumping disco.” Both Mrs. Wyatt and Mad Marj were dressed by mutual friend and head designer of Oscar de la Renta, Peter Copping, who was also in attendance.

VALISSA YOE | BENJAMIN MOORE
DJ Valissa Yoe helped Benjamin Moore 'paint the town red' at the unveiling event for their 2016 Colour Of The Year. The winning color may surprise you. It’s "Simply White” or OC-117 if you want to get technical. Ellen O'Neill, the Creative Director for Benjamin Moore elaborated, "The color white is transcendent, powerful and polarizing – it is either taken for granted or obsessed over."

The Benjamin Moore Colour Studio chose the color after a year of anaylzing trends from the architecture, fashion, textiles, and home furnishings industries. Simply White was selected from the paint company's more than 250 white selections. Valissa certainly dazzled in her "Simply White" jumpsuit.
