VENUE SPOTLIGHT
CARRIAGE HOUSE AT WAVERLY PLACE l GREENWICH VILLAGE
The Carriage House at Waverly Place is an elegant statement venue in the heart of Greenwich Village. Constructed in 1826, the carriage house was the former residence of notable playwright Lorraine Hansberry (A Raisin in the Sun) and a hub for artists and thought leaders in the 1960’s, including Nina SimoneJames BaldwinLena Horne, and Harry Belafonte. Later in the 1990’s, it was the home of Kate Moss and then fiancé Johnny Depp.

The venue offers clients a quintessential upscale New York experience. Both corporate and social event friendly, guests easily enter the 1,800 SF triplex through the main building and cross one of two private courtyards. The Great Room features 25-ft high ceilings, a vaulted skylight and a working wood burning fire place. The recently renovated kitchen is complete with a concealed Subzero refrigerator and full size wine coolergas rangeconvection oven, and finished with high-end Italian cabinets and fixtures. The downstairs suite (not pictured) adds additional space for entertaining or for back of house, while the loft is a dramatic overlook for a DJ or focal point.

The Carriage House at Waverly Place is an elevated choice for a host of events looking for drama, sophistication and exclusivity. It can accommodate 75 guests for cocktails (with minimal furnishings) or up to 40 for a seated dinner on either level.

HENNESSY l 138 BOWERY

Hennessy, the world's leading Cognac, celebrated Portuguese urban artist Alexandre Farto, known as to the art world as the phenom VHILS. Hennessy has a long tradition of supporting artists and individuals who, "Never Stop, Never Settle." VHILS embodied the spirit of the brand and brought it to life with the 8th edition of the V.S Hennessy bottle and his permanent art installation in his signature style on Elizabeth and Broome. Hennessy took over our new epic space 138 Bowery and created a sleek urban lounge with a special performance by none other than Pusha T. Our friends at NVE Experience Agency who produced the event took advantage of the full facade of windows for additional branding opportunities.

DANONE l 399 LAFAYETTE
World leading food company, Danone, hosted a seated luncheon at our newly launched 399 Lafayette in NoHo. The 2,000 SF experiential space offers clients a full-service, all inclusive venue for a variety of turnkey events. With a capacity of 150 standing, and full on-site amenities including flexible track lighting, AV and on-site catering, it is an event producer's dream. Outside caterers are also welcome and the venue can prepare kosher menus as well. 
MIXING IT UP
KAGENCY ALL STAR DJ'S | VUARNET STORE OPENING
French sunglass brand Vuarnet, opened its first U.S. boutique in NYC's fashion-forward Nolita neighborhood. The brand chose Bastille Day for its opening day to celebrate the passion and enthusiasm of France. While showcasing their full range of sunglasses, the boutique also featured store exclusives, artist collaborations and live DJ sets from none other than our Kagency All-Stars. DJ Evalicious performed on Friday, July 13th at the brand's private cocktail hour to kick-off the opening celebrations. To keep the party going the following day, DJs Pebblestone and Alex Merrell performed at the store opening on 39 Spring Street, NY.

The Kagency was founded in 2004 by Karrie Goldberg and began as a venue marketing and booking agency for every event type imaginable.
