MAC COSMETICS | ROOT NYC

This week MAC Cosmetics hosted a MAC Artist Relations event at ROOT NYC for a group of professional makeup artists and press. Makeup Artist James Kaliardos, worked his magic on two models to showcase his new MAC Makeup collection, hitting stores January 2017. Makeup mavens enjoyed a first look at the line, as well as tips and tricks from James, followed by a Q&A with the pro. After the presentation, guests mixed and mingled and enjoyed cocktails in ROOT NYC's Studio 3

ROOT x THE GARAGE

Many thanks to everyone who joined to celebrate our hallmark collaboration with ROOT Studios at The Garage. With the help of our friends at GREENROOM Event Furniture Rentals, our industrial chic event space in Midtown West was transformed to mark the launch of ROOT's pop-up photography studio. Thank you to our friends at SOTO Sake for providing the evening's elixir and Worldstage for creating the custom ambiance.

MIXING IT UP
ALEX MERRELL | FENDI

DJ MAD MARJ | SATO, LETTERS TO ANDY WARHOL &  BERGDORF GOODMAN
was the belle of the New York City social scene this week, spinning three back to back events. Marj first kicked off the party at The DJ Mad MarjKagency’s own Cielo in the Meatpacking District, with The Sato Project, an organization committed to rescuing abused and abandoned dogs in Puerto Rico. She even held court as the auctioneer and had the whole crowd bidding wildly!

Later in the week, she performed at the "Letters to Andy Warhol" event sponsored by Cadillac. The event featured rarely seen letters written to Warhol from the likes of Mick Jagger and Yves Saint Laurent - just to name a few. Marj had the A-List crowd buzzing amid the powerfully nostalgic collection, available for viewing at the Cadillac House through December 24, 2016.

Lastly, Marj presided over Bergdorf Goodman's holiday window reveal. This year's theme, Destination Extraordinary,” is worth the trip to the 5th Avenue flagship. Catch a glimpse here
