HBO'S "15: A QUINCEAÑARA STORY" | THE GARAGE

Courtesy of HBO
The Garage held the premiere for HBO's new exclusive collection of four short documentary films called 15: A Quinceañera Story. The film was executively produced by renowned music executive Tommy Mottola and directed by Emmy® winner Matthew O'Neill and Latin Grammy-winning recording artist Thalía Sodi. The film follows five girls observing their traditional rite of passage celebrating their fifteenth birthday, also known as a quinceañera.
Team Epiphany worked with artist Aurora Botanica to decorate the venue with a vast floral wall created, inspired by Frida Kahlo. Guests were treated to an assortment of festive bites from the incredible team at Tastings, who made sure no one left hungry. Other creative marketing activations that assimilate the ambience of the film include hanging beautiful quinceañera dresses from the ceiling with greenery and flowers, vignettes representing the girl's rooms, as well as foil balloons, which are a modern staple for parties these days.

ELIZABETH GLASER'S PEDIATRIC AIDS FOUNDATION | SMASHBOX STUDIOS

Smashbox Studios held The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation’s 28th annual fundraiser, A Time for Heroes, at its Culver City campus. The event raises critical funds needed to end AIDS in children. Since EGPAF’s founding, they have reached over 26 million women worldwide with lifesaving services. Our friends at Simply Troy transformed the photography studio and private parking lot into an elaborate family-themed festival, complete with food from top local eateries, a rock climbing wall, human bowling, and a host of other fun kid-friendly games and activities. After remarks from passionate supporters and Chip Lyons, President and CEO of the non-profit, Ocean Park Standoff closed the event with a high energy musical performance. The celebrity-driven day included many famous faces, such as Tori Spelling and her family, Gilles Marini, and Allison Sweeney, just to name a few.
