Chelsea Factory's mission is to provide subsidized resources, responsive partnership, and transformative experiences for New York City’s artists from historically excluded communities. All private event rental income directly subsidizes New York City-based artists’ use of the space. Rooted in flexibility, Chelsea Factory has been transformed for performances, premieres, rehearsals, fashion shows, music concerts, family events, hip hop battles, and more, serving 2,700+ artists and welcoming over 22,000 audience members to date.
