ADAPTING TO FIT YOUR NEEDS
In the face of uncertainty, The Kagency is working with our valued partners to create and offer substantial solutions to your marketing and event needs, such as bringing livestream capabilities to our venues (such as pop up spaces NYC).
Specifically, The Kagency is working with Oxygen Eventworks to bring in state of the art robotic cameras, which can be used to livestream on any number of existing platforms. These cameras can be installed to record several camera angles maintaining broadcast quality, while only requiring a fifth of the on-site staff.
Currently, we are offering this package at the following venues:
Expo at Starrett Lehigh: 255 11th Avenue, New York, NY 10001
West 27th Street: 600 W 27th Street, New York, NY 10001
ROOT NYC: 443 W 18th Street, New York, NY 10011
138 BOWERY: 138 Bowery, New York, NY 10013
To learn more about the livestream package, or if you have an event idea that you’d like to explore with us, please email info@kagekonsulting.com.
OXYGEN STUDIOS
LIVESTREAMING CAPABILITIES
What is Oxygen Studios?
A state-of-the-art studio which includes a full range of intelligent lighting, a d&b audiotechnik sound system and a video projection backdrop with cutting-edge livestreaming capabilities built in.
Livestreaming Made Safe & Easy!
Oxygen Studios is using state of the art robotic cameras which will allow us to record several camera angles at the same time without the 5-person film crew normally needed to get the same broadcast quality. We will be able to livestream to any numbers of existing platforms like Facebook Live, Instagram TV, YouTube Live and Twitch.
What can be livestreamed at Oxygen Studios?
We are starting out with local DJs and bands. However, the studio can be refitted for any number of applications including fashion shows and live interviews plus product and cooking demos, etc..
Why is Oxygen Studios being launched now?
Oxygen Studios has been in the works for some time now, but with the current devastating effects of COVID-19 to the local music and event communities, we envision this to be the perfect platform to achieve a technically flawless and multimedia livestream broadcast while following strict safety guidelines.
What are Oxygen Studios’ Safety Protocols?
Safety is Oxygen’s most important concern, therefore, no more than 6 people will be allowed in the space, technicians and talent combined. Social distancing of 6 feet will be maintained. Everyone will be required to wear masks and gloves and surfaces will be wiped down with 70% alcohol between uses. Microphones will be placed in a plastic storage bag immediately after a performance and quarantined for 3 days and then disinfected before future use.
OTHER AREAS OF FOCUS
PERSONAL SAFETY
Your personal safety is of our utmost priority and we’re staying current with New York Forward, Governor Cuomo’s plan to reopen businesses across the state. As we wait for updates, we’re keeping track of new cleaning and safety protocols across the state and talking to colleagues in cities / states that are at various phases of reopening. We hope to be a resource for you as we move from Phase 3 into Phase 4 in NYC.
Event Safety Alliance® (ESA) is a non-profit membership driven organization dedicated to promoting “life safety first” throughout all phases of event production and execution. They have recently released a Reopening Guide to assist the industry in making our events a safe place.

VIRTUAL WALKTHROUGHS
As we enter the Phases of Reopening, we want to ensure that all of our clients feel comfortable and safe, while maintaining the ability to plan their events successfully. Though we may not be able to currently conduct in-person site visits, we will be introducing virtual walkthroughs via FaceTime or Zoom. This will allow clients to view our venues at their own discretion, but with the same attention and detail that we’ve always provided.
We expect new guidelines in regard to venue capacity in the early stages of reopening. When planning your event, please keep in mind that capacity will include event staff.
Event flow will be another topic of discussion in Phase 4 of reopening. Our goal here is to ensure that your guests are comfortable, while keeping their health and safety in mind. We have select venues that can provide separate entrances and exits for event guests, as well as production teams and vendors. We also have venues with garage doors!
As always, The Kagency team will have an operations manager on-site during load-in, event hours and load-out to assist where necessary. For example, we can help our clients ensure that there are masks, gloves, waste bins and sanitizing stations available throughout the venue during an event.
“An essential safety device on a job site is an alert, well-trained, well-equipped and engaged staff.”-The Event Safety Guide
We will ensure that all of our vendors follow the CDC guidelines when cleaning the venues and set forth certain disinfection requirements to maintain cleanliness throughout the duration of each event.HAND SANITIZER
If you’re looking for a customizable hand sanitizer brand partnership, Kagency has found Touchland. They have the capability to install sanitizing stations at the entrances of our venues and throughout the space for easy access. The sanitizer is classified by the FDA as a Category I active ingredient, killing 99.99% of most common disease causing germs. It also contains aloe vera for moisturizing and antibacterial purposes, radish root for microbial protection and essential oils.

If you’re looking to personalize masks, then we’ve got you covered… literally! Selby New York, a design firm creating bespoke private label merchandise, is offering custom branded masks. You have the choice of fabric, canvas, cotton, 2-ply cotton or 3-layer re-usable masks.
