On Site Opera performed at The Garage this past week. The 10-day event consisted of tremendous talent and moving performances as the 3-part series wrapped with a haunting close.  On Site Opera presents site-specific, opera in some of NYC’s most exciting and unusual spaces. This final part of the trilogy looked sought a space that would depict the wealthy family’s new home, but in a desolate state of disscontempt to represent the family’s internal state. The Garage was an ideal space for this as it provides flexible lighting, lofty ceilings, and a spacious feel complimenting the grandiose nature of the family, yet excessiveness of the space.
