In honor of its 200 years in the U.S., Guinness created an anniversary pop-up bar at ROOT NYC in Chelsea. Guests gathered to sample products, including the limited-edition Guinness 200th Anniversary Export Stout. The latest brew was created by Open Gate Brewery, the Dublin-based pilot brewery where Guinness experiments with new styles and reinterprets historical brews. Guinness developed the first ever nitrogenated beer, so an ice cream bar was constructed to allow Guinness enthusiasts to experience the process first hand. The event also included live performances by the Blue Vipers, Marco Foster, and Raya Brass Band.
Studio 3 at ROOT NYC was transformed by MKTG into a rustic setting, using aged barrels and taking advantage of the exposed brick previously existing in the space. The event was catered by KG Fare Catering & Events and Taylor Creative provided the furnishings.
