PREPARED TO WELCOME YOU
ADAPTING TO FIT YOUR NEEDS
In the face of uncertainty, The Kagency is working with our valued partners to create and offer substantial solutions to your marketing and event needs, such as bringing livestream capabilities to our venues (such as pop up spaces NYC).
Specifically, The Kagency is working with Oxygen Eventworks to bring in state of the art robotic cameras, which can be used to livestream on any number of existing platforms. These cameras can be installed to record several camera angles maintaining broadcast quality, while only requiring a fifth of the on-site staff.
Currently, we are offering this package at the following venues:
Expo at Starrett Lehigh: 255 11th Avenue, New York, NY 10001
West 27th Street: 600 W 27th Street, New York, NY 10001
ROOT NYC: 443 W 18th Street, New York, NY 10011
138 BOWERY: 138 Bowery, New York, NY 10013
To learn more about the livestream package, or if you have an event idea that you’d like to explore with us, please email info@kagekonsulting.com.
OXYGEN STUDIOS
LIVESTREAMING CAPABILITIES
What is Oxygen Studios?
A state-of-the-art studio which includes a full range of intelligent lighting, a d&b audiotechnik sound system and a video projection backdrop with cutting-edge livestreaming capabilities built in.
Livestreaming Made Safe & Easy!
Oxygen Studios is using state of the art robotic cameras which will allow us to record several camera angles at the same time without the 5-person film crew normally needed to get the same broadcast quality. We will be able to livestream to any numbers of existing platforms like Facebook Live, Instagram TV, YouTube Live and Twitch.
What can be livestreamed at Oxygen Studios?
We are starting out with local DJs and bands. However, the studio can be refitted for any number of applications including fashion shows and live interviews plus product and cooking demos, etc..
Why is Oxygen Studios being launched now?
Oxygen Studios has been in the works for some time now, but with the current devastating effects of COVID-19 to the local music and event communities, we envision this to be the perfect platform to achieve a technically flawless and multimedia livestream broadcast while following strict safety guidelines.
What are Oxygen Studios’ Safety Protocols?
Safety is Oxygen’s most important concern, therefore, no more than 6 people will be allowed in the space, technicians and talent combined. Social distancing of 6 feet will be maintained. Everyone will be required to wear masks and gloves and surfaces will be wiped down with 70% alcohol between uses. Microphones will be placed in a plastic storage bag immediately after a performance and quarantined for 3 days and then disinfected before future use.
OTHER AREAS OF FOCUS
PERSONAL SAFETY
Your personal safety is of our utmost priority and we’re staying current with New York Forward, Governor Cuomo’s plan to reopen businesses across the state. As we wait for updates, we’re keeping track of new cleaning and safety protocols across the state and talking to colleagues in cities / states that are at various phases of reopening. We hope to be a resource for you as we move from Phase 3 into Phase 4 in NYC.
Event Safety Alliance® (ESA) is a non-profit membership driven organization dedicated to promoting “life safety first” throughout all phases of event production and execution. They have recently released a Reopening Guide to assist the industry in making our events a safe place.

VIRTUAL WALKTHROUGHS
As we enter the Phases of Reopening, we want to ensure that all of our clients feel comfortable and safe, while maintaining the ability to plan their events successfully. Though we may not be able to currently conduct in-person site visits, we will be introducing virtual walkthroughs via FaceTime or Zoom. This will allow clients to view our venues at their own discretion, but with the same attention and detail that we’ve always provided.
We expect new guidelines in regard to venue capacity in the early stages of reopening. When planning your event, please keep in mind that capacity will include event staff.
Event flow will be another topic of discussion in Phase 4 of reopening. Our goal here is to ensure that your guests are comfortable, while keeping their health and safety in mind. We have select venues that can provide separate entrances and exits for event guests, as well as production teams and vendors. We also have venues with garage doors!
As always, The Kagency team will have an operations manager on-site during load-in, event hours and load-out to assist where necessary. For example, we can help our clients ensure that there are masks, gloves, waste bins and sanitizing stations available throughout the venue during an event.
“An essential safety device on a job site is an alert, well-trained, well-equipped and engaged staff.”-The Event Safety Guide
We will ensure that all of our vendors follow the CDC guidelines when cleaning the venues and set forth certain disinfection requirements to maintain cleanliness throughout the duration of each event.HAND SANITIZER
If you’re looking for a customizable hand sanitizer brand partnership, Kagency has found Touchland. They have the capability to install sanitizing stations at the entrances of our venues and throughout the space for easy access. The sanitizer is classified by the FDA as a Category I active ingredient, killing 99.99% of most common disease causing germs. It also contains aloe vera for moisturizing and antibacterial purposes, radish root for microbial protection and essential oils.

If you’re looking to personalize masks, then we’ve got you covered… literally! Selby New York, a design firm creating bespoke private label merchandise, is offering custom branded masks. You have the choice of fabric, canvas, cotton, 2-ply cotton or 3-layer re-usable masks.

Red Bull Music Festival
In collaboration with Red Bull Music Festival New York, The Darkroom(s) of Richie “Shazam” Khan took over all 8,000 SF of Westside Loft in the West Village, formerly Michelson Studios. Producers, led by Khan, transformed the venue with one creative expression after the next. Upon entering, guests were met with a digital vision of Khan, along with high-energy beats from various DJs. As they continued throughout the rooms, guests experienced multiple installations that portrayed Kahn’s key takeaway — he wanted guests to understand the importance of being free and being themselves. He did so by projecting visuals of his different personas to illustrate the general theme of the night, which was a “visual rave fantasy.”

The Eklund Gomes Foundation
Last Thursday at The Garage, the ‘Kings of New York real estate,’ Frederik Eklund and John Gomes celebrated 10 years of partnership at Douglas Elliman. The Garage was transformed into an opulent enchanted forest with living walls, crystal chandeliers, nouveau French furnishings, and a mysterious white haze that clung to the floor for added effect (pictured bottom left).
The dynamic duo preempted the announcement of their joint charity, The Eklund Gomes Foundation (supporting New York’s homeless), with a marching band and majorettes. Then following the announcement, a 21-person angelic choir serenaded guests. Later, the hosts brought down the house, when they reappeared dressed as space-age Marie Antoinettes, wigs and all, and VOGUED to Madonna while accompanied by glow stick whirling backup dancers. It really was spectacular. You had to see it to believe it.
Big Sean Listening Party
Big Sean stopped by The Garage in New York City for his album debut listening party. This was the second stop on his three-city preview, before the official album release tomorrow, Friday, February 3. Performing tracks from his new album, ‘I Decided,’ Big Sean captured his audience throughout the evening with challenging lyrics and dynamic rhythm. Constructing a forest-like scene with ominous lighting in the venue, Big Sean was able to create an atmosphere of uncertainty and intrigue, to parallel the themes of his album.
Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation
Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation celebrated its 10th Anniversary at The Garage. The charity dedicated to creating innovative and long-lasting solutions to hunger and homelessness, held a gala with enough star power to light the Empire State. The night kicked off with a performance by Dominic Scaglione Jr. of Jersey Boys, followed by impassioned remarks by Governor Andrew Cuomo, President Bill Clinton, and Jon and Dorothea Bon Jovi – the charity’s driving forces. After the Bon Jovi’s presented Governor Cuomo and his sister Maria Cuomo Cole with the JBJSF Inspiration Award, Bon Jovi took to the stage and performed torch-song renditions of some of his mega hits. The Garage was honored to be a part of this epic evening of music and philanthropy.
Jose Cuervo
"Step up to the mic and channel your inner Rock Star." Jose Cuervo, in coordination with The Rolling Stones, invite you to re-live the band's famed1972 tour when they were, as described by Keith Richards himself, "a pirate nation" fueled by Tequila Sunrises, ahem, among other things... The Karaoke event at The Garage was the first in a series that will take place this year, claiming the hashtag, #cuervosunrisetour. Party goers, celebrities and influencers alike enjoyed singing some of The Rolling Stones greatest hits, among other artists, all under the spell of the disco ball. Any courage needed, was amply provided by Jose Cuervo. The VIP Karaoke experience was expertly produced by our friends at Team Epiphany, who clearly know how to party.
Microsoft
Technology leader Microsoft, hosted a global forum at Michelson Studios. Technology representatives from around the world met and discussed new ideas and emerging global trends. Michelson Studios was transformed from a penthouse into a speaking platform for two days. The venue was utilized to its full potential with a main stage and separate breakout areas for panel discussions and rotating food + beverage stations. This event truly captured the character and versatility of Michelson Studios.
Honda
Honda chose The Garage to unveil two new models designed by Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas during Auto Week. The two singers set to appear on the 2016 Honda Civic Tour this year, were on hand to greet press and excited fans and personally present their custom creations. Two lucky fans will win the vehicles, a hunter green Honda Grom motorcycle designed by Jonas and a personally autographed rose gold and black 2016 Honda Civic designed by Lovato.
Jordan Brand
Jordan Brand hosted an epic homage to Michael Jordan during NBA All-Star Week at Penn Plaza Pavilion. The Pavilion was transformed into a temple for the legendary player as well as the brand and included photography and memorabilia depicting the journey of both. The exhibit also featured state of the art training courts and a half-court simulator, with 876 LED screens memorializing two epic shots made by MJ in years past. Hypothermia did not keep the crowds away, guests wrapped around the block in below freezing temperatures to participate in the momentous "We Are Jordan" moment. Congratulations to Game Seven Marketing and Satis&Fy for transforming the space and executing an amazing event.
